Mr. Mikael Jakobsson Executive Director at the Asia Pacific Urban Energy Association (APUEA) |
Mr Jakobsson has 20 years of experience in integrated Urban Energy systems and District Energy, with expertise in energy planning, project development, and system optimization. Mr. Jakobsson has specialist knowledge in District Energy design optimization and operation optimization through seamless thermal, hydraulic steady-state and transient-state analysis. Mr. Jakobsson started his career responsible for developing the Stockholm integrated Urban Energy system, and in the past 10 years Mr. Jakobsson has developed and executed some 70 Urban Energy projects in Asia; now led by the Swedish originated consulting company NXITY. Mr. Jakobsson has international experience from Europe, Middle East, Central Asia and Asia Pacific. |

Ms. Nguyen Dang Thu Cuc is the National Ozone Coordinator of Viet Nam under the Department of Climate Change, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, acting as the focal point for implementation of the Montreal Protocol on ozone depleting substances in Viet Nam. Her work involves developing policies, legal documents and promoting cooperation among agencies, stakeholders to implement the Protocol as well as relevant initiatives, programs on sustainable cooling and end-of-life management of refrigerants. |

Mr. Lundberg is an energy engineer with fifteen years of experience as Team Leader, Project Manager, Technical Manager, System Designer, and Project Planner. He has wide international experience working on projects in Scandinavia, Europe, and Asia. He has extensive experience in district heating, district cooling, energy efficiency, renewable energy, demand side management (DSM), and sustainable urban development. Currently, Mr. Lundberg is the Head of Operations at the Asia Pacific Urban Energy Association (APUEA) in Bangkok, Thailand. He is leading the APUEA secretariat to explore, develop and promote sustainable energy in the Asia Pacific region. |

Mr Chia has more than 25 years of experience in industrial refrigeration business starting as a project and design engineer when he joined Gram/York back in 1996. He proceeds to gain experience in doing technical sales and later manages a sales team to cover the SEA regions as Head of Sales for JCI. Chia’s expertise resides in industrial knowledge for system integration and contracting experience pertaining to the F&B industries such as refrigeration solution for poultry plant, dairy cooling system, ice cream freezing plant, brewery and beverage industries, industrial cold stores systems, heat recovery and heat pump application. Currently Mr Chia leads a team of application engineers to support front line sales for the SEA IR markets. Mr Chia is currently based in Singapore and holds a Master of Engineering (NTU), and Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from NUS. |
