International scientific seminar on building a national data center held in Hanoi
Standing Deputy of the Working Group for Project 06 and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc chaired the seminar.
The seminar drew the participation of domestic and international experts and scientists as well as representatives of relevant agencies and units under the Ministry of Public Security.
Delivering the opening speech, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc stated that the Ministry of Public Security has been entrusted by the Prime Minister to take the lead, and coordinate with other ministries and sectors in developing a project to build a national data center.
In order to draft the project, it is first needed to carefully study the core elements such as basic infrastructure, station shell infrastructure, equipment, design and operation of the center so that the National Data Center can be connected and provide public services both at home and abroad.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc said that the seminar aimed to consult domestic and international scientists about experience and knowledge related to the construction of the National Data Center.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc wished that domestic and foreign experts and scientists at this seminar would share valuable knowledge and practical experience in building and running a national data center.
During the seminar, domestic and foreign experts and scientists shared a lot of valuable knowledge and experiences, including systems contributing to the digital transformation process in Denmark; experience in implementing the project from the Korean Government, and overall organization of the National Data Center.
Making closing remarks, Director of the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order under the Ministry of Public Security Major General Nguyen Quoc Hung sincerely thanked experts and scientists for their valuable ideas and practical experiences, saying that the Ministry of Public Security will make use of the shared knowledge and experiences to further improve the project on building the National Data Center.
