ABOUT 1,800 BILLION DONG INDUSTRIAL PARK PROJECT IN KHANH HOA PROVINCE
On April 8, the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa province said that the investment project on construction and trading of infrastructure of industrial park (IP) on the White Stone slope in Van Phong economic zone was approved for implementation.
Viglacera Yen My – Hung Yen Joint Stock Company is the investor for this industrial park project with a total registered capital of more than VND 1,800 billion. The project has an area of about 300 ha, located in Van Ninh district and Ninh Hoa town. Ninh Tho commune, Ninh Hoa town has 60 ha of land, 240 ha of land in Van Hung commune, Van Ninh district.
This industrial park project is located in Van Phong economic zone and is being appraised by the Ministry of Planning and Investment for submission to the Prime Minister for consideration and approval.
Some of the main areas that will attract investment capital in the industrial park are supporting industries, high-tech industries, logistics, secondary projects must be environmentally friendly and make a large contribution to the budget. Machinery and equipment manufacturing and metal processing; heavy mechanics, steel structures; assembly of cars, motorcycles, ultra-light and ultra-light equipment; equipment of tools and machinery used in the agro-forestry – aquatic processing industry are the priority areas.
In addition, the industrial park also aims to attract enterprises in the group of electrical and electronic equipment production with industrial electronics, telecommunications electronics, office equipment, computers, mobile phones and electronic components…
In the first quarter of 2022, enterprises in Van Phong economic zone and industrial zones and clusters in Khanh Hoa province returned to operation. The provincial People’s Committee has instructed departments to focus on solving problems and creating conditions for investors to accelerate the progress of existing industrial park infrastructure investment projects.
The provincial People’s Committee added that in the coming time, the province will accelerate the planning of the province in the period 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050; adjust the general planning of Ba Trang city to 2040; adjust the planning of Van Phong economic zone; general planning of Cam Lam new urban area… In parallel, Khanh Hoa will continue to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Planning and Investment to develop a project to report to the Government to submit to the National Assembly for promulgation a pilot resolution on some specific mechanisms and policies for development of Khanh Hoa province.
